A simplified version of the family tree from John Cameron & Elspet Cumming who took over Granish farm at the beginning of the 19th Century, through the next six generations .
Their eldest son John stays to farm at Granish, second son James marries Anne Watson and takes over Chapelton which stays in the family until the 1980's

James Cameron 1836 son of James Cameron & Anne Watson has a successful career as Farm Grieve becoming Grieve at The Doune.

His daughter Elsie has a son by Peter McGregor but they do not marry. Her son John marries Swiss maid Emilie Alice Collet. He builds "Nannies House" at Chapelton and starts a forestry & timber business, they have 3 children.

Elsie marries and moves to Edinburgh

George takes over the family business but moves it away from Chapelton to expand.

Marguerite marries Joe Duffin and loves to London, where they have ME......and Michael as well.
